Founder and senior Pastor of St. Philip’s Ministry of the
United Methodist Church, Reverend Dr. Stafford J. Miller, undergraduate college years were spent at William Paterson University
in Wayne, NJ and at New York Theological Seminary where he received a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Doctor of Ministry
degrees (D. Min.)
He is an Elder in Full Connection with the Greater New Jersey Conference of
the United Methodist Church.
Prior to Seminary he taught in Public Elementary schools in Paterson.
His Conference involvement has been on:

He spent 18 months as a Domestic Peace Corps Volunteer,
(V.I.S.T.A) and has mission experiences to Haiti and Nicaragua. In November, 2006 he spent 14 days in West Africa. In February
2007, he participated with a Habitat for Humanity work team to Bay St. Louis Mississippi, in response to Hurricane Katrina.
