for Christ is a youth program which endeavors, to provide a enriching, active assortment of
activities for teen youth who reside in the Northside community of one of the city of Paterson.
The purpose
of the T/4/C Teens for Christ Program is to become implicated with youth, so as to prepare a person, capable of competing
internationally, who is socially concerned, and Christian focused in outlook as well as in self-perspectives.
Teenagers in Charge...T/I/C...We
at St. Philip's Ministry, have also undertaken the development of a program for older youths, which centers on positive
themes and thoughts. The name that has been proudly selected is "Teenagers In Charge" T/I/C.
We initiated this program with the principal objective to develop into our teen youth the principles, skills and attitude
that will help each one.
1) The mechanics of getting and holding a job. 2) To instill in our youth a positive
attitude about work. 3) To promote within each individual to exercise control over their own life.
T/I/C is
currently operated within our facility located on 9-11 North First and is serving this community solely supported by our community
outreach budget.
It is our hope to empower our youth with positive
Christian themes, images and role models in order to gain a new and continued understanding of their responsible role in their
Community.

We are confident that the T/I/C program, will prove to the vehicle that will assist our area youth to aspire toward drug
abstinence and envision their self worth and community responsibility.
T/I/C provides service daily and our goal
is to impact the lives of between 50-60 youth. Joyfully, nearly 100, (one hundred) youth are being influenced
through the service which we provide.
Our target age is between the ages of 12 through 16. We have
scheduled our normal gathering time within the hours of 5:30 -8:00 p.m. Monday - Friday as the hours of our operation.
The T/I/C program in addition to its regular evening activities will also consist of a monthly field trip,
